MAPS, TERRAIN AND SURFACE MODELS
When you combine an orthophoto with a digital terrain model, the output is a 3D model with real world imagery. In Senseloop we work with high end drone and sensor systems ensuring accurate data is used to generate advanced terrain and surface products.
WHEN TO USE THE DIFFERENT MODELS:

Digital Surface Model (DSM), Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN) model are three commonly used models in construction and infrastructure projects.

-
DSM is useful for architects and engineers when planning for buildings and infrastructure.
-
DEM is useful when analyzing the terrain for drainage, stormwater, slope profiles and frost protection as well as evaluation of as build vs design build.
-
TIN is used in most BIM software and applications with similar area of use as DSM.
MAPS AND PRESENTATIONS
Senseloop offers a wide variety of maps and presentations of the geographic data we collect and process.

Examples are
-
Area maps for real estate, construction sites
-
Linear maps for roads, railway and powerlines
-
Maps and presentations to model areas exposed to e.g flooding, landslides and extreme tides
