LiDAR (laser scanning)

Senseloop can scan terrain, buildings, infrastructure and even inside mines. The method gives high presicion pointclouds with/without RGB colours and intensity for clasification.

Compared to photogrammetry, laser scanning is very suitable for areas with trees, as the laser beams will "see" in between leaves and pine needles.

Use cases
  • Creating terrainmodels

  • Construction of 3D-models

  • Monitoring of object movements over time

  • Analysis of change

Drone-based LiDAR
  • 10 mm accuracy

  • Up to 100.000 measurments per second

  • 330 degrees Field of view

  • Targets can be 5 - 500 meters away (up to 900 meters in good conditions

  • 20 - 100 points per square meter

Ground-based LiDAR
  • 5 mm accuracy

  • Up to 500.000 measurements per second

  • +60 / -40 degrees vertical view

  • 360 degrees horizontal view

  • Up to 800 meter range to target
